Whereby a wound requires extensive or extended care, your doctor may refer you to the Community nurses for ongoing care.
Should ongoing treatment be required, you will be required to purchase your dressing materials from a pharmacy and you can bring them with you to your appointment with your GP or leave them at the clinic for your ongoing treatment. We require that you store them in a suitable container (eg. Lunch box), labelled with your name. Whereby the clinic provides the materials you will be charged for these items.
